Artistic Creations

The concert We Are Voices Without Mouths took place Monday June 20 on the Stereolux stage. A concert which brought together more than 400 people and caused a standing ovation lasting more than 10 minutes! Enough to make our artists proud, accompanied by singer-composer Dominique A. This concert concludes the dissemination events of a major European project: Change2regard.

This project is being carried out thanks to the “Shared Creations” scheme of the City of Nantes, as well as with the support of the DRAC, the Pays de la Loire Region, the Crédit Mutuel Foundation via Mécène pour la musique.

“We are voices without mouths” is a project carried out as part of the Shared Creations system of the city of Nantes. Against the backdrop of the concert which took place at Stereolux on June 20, Anita, artist in the Compagnie Le Cercle Karré, tells us about the different stages of questioning, doubts but also confidence and self-esteem through which she went.

Through Anita’s voice, it is the journey of a creation bringing together more than 25 budding or established artists, with or without disabilities. It is also the valuable participation of Dominique A.

It’s the story of a human adventure!

This report was produced by the Stereolux team. This experience, part of the European Change2Regard project, has fueled important work to produce resources to facilitate access to music for people with disabilities.

All of the project’s tools and experiences are visible on the transnational resources website www.change2regard.eu
